Description: Improvements include the elimination of trickling filters and intermediate clarifiers and the installation of a new fine bubble aeration system with centrifugal blowers, a new solids dewatering facility with a new belt press, and odor control facilities. Odor control facilities include new aluminum clear span domes on the existing primary clarifiers and aeration basins, and two new single-stage wet scrubber systems. Operational efficiency was obtained as a direct result of the treatment process improvements.
