Description: A new K-5 school on an existing school site combines two 1950's era neighborhood schools into a facility that offers an expanded educational program. A two-story classroom wing contains the school office on the ground floor and a media center on the second floor. The design allows for abundant natural light. The classroom wing is connected to the multi-purpose building by an enclosed connector. The multi-purpose building includes a gymnasium with stage and the cafeteria. The multi-purpose building can be used for after-school functions without having to open the classroom building.
