Description: The administration building for NASCAR staff at Talladega Superspeedway is comprised of two wings flanking a central visitor lobby. The cylindrical lobby structure is clad in square stainless steel “shingles” that recall the checkered racing motif. Exterior materials include contrasting masonry bands, metal roofing and corrugated metal siding. Administrative areas include offices, conference rooms and support spaces connected by high ceiling corridors daylit by clerestory windows.
